I want to express my sincerest thanks for the pair of tefillin that I recently received from Rabbi Cohen at the University of Pennsylvania through the Roots program. Without Roots, I would have never been able to afford a pair of new tefillin, which I have never owned before. Now, with Rabbi Cohen’s help, I am learning about the incredible importance of this mitzvah and am trying to incorporate it into my life. The mission of Roots has touched me and I am appreciative for all of the time and effort you have put into developing and maintaining this amazing organization.
